What we build

Flatwork that stays flat.

Patios & walkways

Broom-finished, exposed aggregate, or stamped - the foundation of the backyard, poured to last.

Driveways

Tear-out and replacement or new pours, with the base compaction and joint layout that keeps them crack-free.

Stamped & decorative

Stamped patterns and color that give you the look of stone at the price of concrete.

What’s under it decides everything

Concrete doesn’t fail on top. It fails underneath.

Base prep and compactionThe slab is only as good as what it sits on - we excavate, grade, and compact before a single yard is poured.
Drainage built inSlopes, downspout tie-ins, and drains planned up front, so water moves away from the slab and the house instead of under it.
Mixed and jointed for freeze-thawAir-entrained mix and control joints laid out for Illinois winters - so cracking happens where we planned, not where it wants.
How it works

Four steps, and you always know where things stand.

OneWalk & quoteWe walk your space, talk through what you want, and hand you a clear plan and price.
TwoDesign & scheduleLayout, finish, and drainage planned; a locked pour date on the calendar.
ThreePour & finishExcavate, form, pour, and finish - one crew, with updates the whole way.
FourWalk-throughWe finish clean, restore the yard, and walk the whole project with you.

Concrete questions, answered straight.

Will it crack?

All concrete moves - the difference is whether it cracks where you planned. Proper base prep, air-entrained mix, and control joints mean movement happens invisibly at the joints, not across the middle of your patio.

Stamped concrete or pavers?

Stamped gives you the stone look in a monolithic slab at a lower price; pavers cost more but repair piece by piece. We’ll talk through both honestly at the walkthrough - we only build one of them, and we’ll tell you if pavers are the better fit for your project.

How soon can we use it?

Walk on it in a day or two, furniture in about a week, and vehicles on a driveway in seven days or more. We’ll give you the exact timeline for your pour.

What about the water problem I already have?

Tell us at the walkthrough. Drainage is part of every job we do - French drains, downspout tie-ins, regrading - because pouring concrete over a water problem just makes an expensive water problem.

Do you tear out the old slab?

Yes - demo, haul-off, and disposal of the old concrete are included in the quote when you’re replacing.
