The install window is shorter than it looks
Almost everyone wants their lights up between the week before Thanksgiving and the first week of December - about three usable weeks. Weather takes a bite out of that: rain, wind, and early cold snaps regularly erase install days. Every crew in the Metro East is working the same shrinking window, and the calendar fills from the front. By mid-October, the Thanksgiving-week slots are gone.
What booking in August actually gets you
- Your pick of dates. Want lights on before Thanksgiving guests arrive? August bookings choose their week. October bookings take what's left.
- A daylight design visit. We walk the house while the trees still have leaves and the evenings are long - measuring rooflines, planning outlet loads, and deciding what to outline versus what to accent, without rushing against a 4:45 sunset.
- Materials reserved for your house. Custom-cut C9 lines are built to your roofline's measurements ahead of the rush, not pieced together from whatever's left in November.
- Takedown already scheduled. Your January removal date is set the day you book - no chasing anyone in the new year.
Nobody's lights go up in August. But the people whose lights go up first in November booked in August.
